Radish is a nutrition-loaded root vegetable. It has a very low-calorie count. It is a very good source of anti-oxidants, electrolytes, minerals, vitamins and dietary fiber. It’s also a very good source of Vitamin C which synthesizes collagen in the body. It helps the body fight harmful free radicals, prevent cancers, decrease inflammation and help boost immunity. Radishes can also regulate blood pressure, relieve congestion, and prevent respiratory problems such as asthma or bronchitis. They have antibacterial, antifungal, and detoxifying properties, and contain compounds that soothe rashes, dryness, and other skin disorders.
Corn is nutritious, providing fiber, which aids in digestion, plus folate, thiamine, phosphorus, vitamin C, and magnesium (about 10% of the daily value for each). It also helps to maintain healthy mucous membranes, skin, and vision.
Corn also is an excellent source of vitamin A, thiamine, and vitamin B6. Its high fibre content ensures that it plays a significant role in the prevention of digestive ailments like constipation and hemorrhoids. The antioxidants present in corn also act as anti-carcinogenic agents.
