Perfect Protein Balls – with only 6 ingredients

One cup of almonds

1/2 cup of pitted dates
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoon of cacoa powder
2 tablespoons of organic pea protein – vanilla or choc (Vital Protein)
(or your protein of choice)

Blend on TM level 9 for 30 seconds
roll in coconut and refrigerate for 30 minutes

Makes 12
(these get eaten so fast, double or triple the mix the thermy can do it but I suggest putting the dry ingredients in first for 10 seconds then adding the dates and oil)

Another tip – We buy bulk wholesale organic from a local co-op and keep nuts flours and seeds in the deep freezerer, it actually works out cheaper than normal supermarket prices. But if you don’t have organic – ALDI have great almonds and dates and they are half the price of most Woolworths and Coles. Sometimes they even stock organic.
