“This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognised by yourself as a mighty one, the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap, the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.”
George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

George really gives it to us straight here and I love it. Slaps me in the face on those days when I’m being a ‘selfish little clod of ailments..’

What is your purpose, is it a mighty one? Are you going to be thoroughly worn out at the end.

I feel the force of nature, the flow. Allowing creative expression and moving us out of our own way and into the beautiful way of the perfect balance of the universe.  Our purpose is always there, waiting patiently for us to seek it out.

I challenge you, is alcohol, drugs, shopping, busyness, sex, money and other addictions and distractions your purpose?  Or do you have a true calling, a life purpose that sets you on fire, that makes you whole, fulfils your heart and lets you sleep well and happy.  This is no pipe dream – it doesn’t matter if its surfing, or raising money, or riding horses, or loving animals, or devotion to your children, or building your business, when its a souls purpose you just know…. and its right.

Let me know what yours is? post in the comments below, on Facebook or share with friends

… lets not be little clods hey Georgie.
